CBI raids Cantt. Board office in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 14,2016:(Subhash Kakkar):  A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headed by M.K.Tiwari, SP toady raided the office of Cantonment Board, Ferozepur Cantt and scrutinized the files relating to sewerage work going on in the cantonment area.

As per the information, the CBI has earlier also enquired into the misappropriation in the sewerage work of Rs.13 crore going on under the Cantonment Board, Ferozepur Cantt.
The CBI team has visited the office to investiagte into the alleged embezzlement in sewerage work and seized the relevant record after scrutiny of the same, the sources said.
Sources further said that the CBI team has raided the Cantt office on receipt of a complaint with regard to alleged irregularities and misappropriation in the sewerage work and facts will be brought on surface after proper scrutiny of the record.
