BSF arrests Kasur based Pakistani intruder along international border
Ferozepur, September 9, 2018: The 29th Bn of Border Security Force apprehended the Kasur based Pakistani intruder along the international border in the area of BOP Mabbo Ke – close to the zero line of the Indo-Pakistan border in Ferozepur Sector, in the wee hours, who managed to sneak into the Indian territory.
Giving more information, the BSF officials informed that when the BSF sleuths during their routine patrolling along the border, they saw Pakistani resident crossing the border near BP No.197/1. The jawans came into action and in few minutes arrested the person from the order.
BSF officials further said the captured intruder has identified himself as Hanif, a 70-year-old son of Aladin Din village Ratne Wala, under Ganda Singh Wala Police Station, Kasur District in Pakistan. As per their information, on search, nothing objectionable was recovered from him except soap and chain in his neck.
The BSF officials are investigating the intruder, to ascertain the motive behind his crossing the border.
In the past also there had been chances of the intruder entering the Indian Territory by wading through the Sutlej river which crisscrosses the international border in this area.
