Black Fungus: One new case takes total tally to seven in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, June 2, 2021::  One more Black Fungus – Mucormycosis – case has been reported in the district on Wednesday. The black fungus infection has now become more challenging than Covid-19. If patients are not treated in time and properly, than the mortality rate could be too high, said health official.

The total number of Black Fungus in Ferozepur district is now seven and 4 are admitted in hospital, two cured and one died.

CMO has advised that to be safe from Black Fungus, the sugar patients should avoid taking steroids.
