Be-Rozgar PTI Union protests in the constituency of Dy.CM
Ferozepur, August 7, 2016: The Be-Rozgar Union members today protested in the constituency of Deputy Chief Minister for non-filling up the posts of PTI even after five years of advertisement of 646 posts on May 9, 2011.
Earlier a Morcha was held for 1 month at Village Bhuvir in district Mansa, resulted in a written test imposed on these posts by the government.
The Dharna was supported by Ashok Kumar Ladhuka, Amarjit Devraj, Gurlabh Singh Bhola ( Pardhan), Krishan Lal, Rajkrishan Ladhuka, Mamta Rani, Suman Rani, Hardeep Kaur, Shakuntla Rani, Nirmala Rani, Ashu Bala, Seema Rani, Binder Kaur.
The protesters said, the Punjab Govt on 9-5-2011 advertised for 646 posts of PTI. But till today even after completion of 5 years the Govt. has not admitted anyone. Many meetings with the education Minister and Chief Minister have been held in the past but no result has come except for false assurances.
The union demands that the posts be filled on merit basis. If the govt. fails to agree to our demands in the next ten days than the agitation will be made more sever and on 15 August no minister shall be allowed to hoist the National Flag, they added.
Giving an open support to the dhanra, Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy, General Secretary Punjab Youth Congress, said that all these agitating members are Gold and silver medalist in sports and have made Punjab proud but no sincere effort has been made by the present Government so they had to climb the water tank today.
