ANTI-DRUG DRIVE: Property from illegal drug trade worth Rs.20 lac freezed in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 10, 2023: Freezing orders of property from illegal drug trade worth Rs.20 lac was freezed today and orders were pasted outside the house.
Divulging with details, SSP Deepak Hillori said, the freezing orders of property of Pramjit Singhalias Pamma worth Rs.20 lac of the Competent Authority, Delhi, under NDPS Act Section 68-F were pasted outside his house, resident of Mithe police station in district Ferozepur. Paramjit Singh was booked under NDPS Act in June 2019 under Section 21/22, on recovery of 1,220 intoxicant tablets and 20 gm heroin. He had a house in the village measuring 10 marla valuing Rs.20 lac. Paramjit Singh is also booked in two cases of Makhu and one of Zira, under NDPS Act.
He said, while 11 drug smugglers cases have been sent to the Competent Authority, Delhi and further working on anti-drug drive, 15 more such cases are in pipeline for similar actions. However, so far, in 12 cases, the illegal property worth Rs.7,24,13,737 cr has been freezed.
