Ferozepur, April 23, 2016 :  Amandeep Singh alias Sakoda – well-known middleman has been booked in another case of graft at Mallanwala police station in Ferozepur against a complaint lodged by Harmeet Singh of Chuchakwind village.

 

In the complaint, Harmeet as alleged that Rs.20 lakh was given to him in installments during the last year, on the assurance of providing him a job in the Punjab Police but later on, he moved out.

 

The police sources confirmed that Sakoda had been booked under Sections 420 and 406 of the IPC in an another case.

 

Added here, the police had earlier booked Sakoda under the same Sections in a case No.17 of 22.4.2016 and he had hit the headlines in the media a month ago when the dismissed Punjab Police cop and former Grmeet Singh aka Pinky cat had leveled serious charges against him of receiving money in the name of DGP to reinstatement.  Sakoda was arrested by Ferozepur police from a beach resort in Puri in Odisha by a special police team headed by Jasbir Singh, SHO Ghall Khurd Police Station.

 

Sakoda was produced in a local court in Puri which gave transit remand to take him to Ferozepur and he is still in Central Jail, Ferozepur.

 

 

 

Another case of graft has been slapped against the infamous “tout” Amandeep Singh alias “Skoda” at Mallanwala police station in Ferozepur following a complaint by Harmeet Singh of Chuchakwind village.

Harmeet has alleged that Skoda had taken Rs 20 lakh from him on the pretext of providing him a job in the Punjab Police last year, but then he “disappeared”. Ferozepur SSP Manminder Singh confirmed that Skoda had been booked under Sections 420 and 406 of the IPC in the latest case.

Skoda had hit the headlines a month ago when dismissed policeman and former “cat” Gurmeet Singh alias Pinky had accused him of taking a kickback in the name of a DGP-rank official to reinstate him. Later, he was nabbed by the Ferozepur police from a beach resort in Odisha.
