Ferozepur, September 12, 2015: Controversies notwithstanding, the Aadm Aadmi Party is gaining ground in Punjab with huge gatherings in its rallies.
“We don’t see the real sovereignty despite 68 years of independence of India and it looks it has come for red-beckon bureaucrats and leaders”, said Bhagwant Mann, MP from Sangrur while addressing mammoth gathering at the Aam Admi Party rally at Guruharsahai near Ferozepur.
He said, “The voters had been electing the alternative governments in the past after five years because of the fact that they don’t have been third choice for change. But now the voters are quite intelligent when four MPs have represented Punjab in the Centre government by adopting the ideology of Arvind Kejriwal”.
Making conscious the people, Mann said, the button of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) is the future button of your children which you have to use during 2017 Assembly elections for making Aam Admi Party government in Punjab.
Cursing for the plight of people in Punjab, he said, the only target of AAP is to win all the 117 Assembly seats in Punjab.
Mann asked for a chance with a winning support in 2017 to change the entire atmosphere in the Punjab.
Suchha Singh Chhotepur, AAP Convener Punjab in his address said, the sustainer of the country is committing suicides, besides no payment of sugarcane, damage of cotton crop, low prices of basmati, deflation of landed property and about 75 percent of industry has shifted from Pujab to other states because of victim of dictatorship.
Because of unemployed, the educated class is moving on wrong paths and becoming addict making them ineligible for recruitment in the Army and other security agencies, Chhotepur added.
He further said, we will make drug-free Punjab within two months after coming into power. The people of Punjab have now made up their mind to completely sweep the Akali-BJP and Congress parties in the next Assembly elections.
Making a clarion call, Chhotepur said, “Lift the broom once, we will support you and will not spare any person for any handedness with anyone.
Leveling charges, in his address to the rally, Harjot Singh Bains, President Youth Wing Punjab said, the BJP-Akali Presidents and leaders are directly attached with drug business and a high level investigation will be got conducted against them after coming into power.
Others who addressed the rally were Pankaj Ranga from Delhi, Dr.Malkit Thind, and Vaibhav Sharma.
