Cantonment Board Member condemns Singer Moosewala, for using Mai Bhago’s name in song in bad light, demands action
Ferozepur, September 21, 2019: Hurting the sentiments of Sikh community by Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala for using the name of Mata Bhag Kaur (Mai Bhago) in bad light, in his latest song ‘Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi’, Zora Singh Sandhu, Member, Cantonment Board and Social Activist has come forward to strongly condemn Sidhu Muse Wala, demanding from the State Government, the legal action against the singer.
Zora Singh Sandhu said, Mai Bhago has special and important place in Sikh Panth who has served the Sikh Panth and has played a vital role in her each movement which warrants action against Mossewala.
He said, the females have a special place in the Sikh community. Mai Bhago had always been ready to face any challenge like the Sikh brothers but to get the fake popularity, Moosewala has made a great blunder by making a reference of respectable Mai Bhago in his song which is neither tolerable nor pardonable.
To compare woman with a gun by Mooseala and that too of respectable personality is very unfortunate, said Zora Singh Sandhu adding that the government should take action against the song writers and singers, for hurting religious feelings and to maintain the peaceful environment in the state besides putting a strict ban on the controversial song.
