PROA submits memorandum to Commissioner
Ferozepur, November 24, 2017: Punjab Revenue Offices Association led by Gursewak Singh Bhullar, President today submitted a memorandum of demands to the Commissioner, S.S.Gurjar, Ferozepur.
Giving the details, Maninder Singh, General Secretary said, the demands of the Revenue Officers include the common demands of the revenue officers include for regular promotion of CDC Tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars, decision on ACP cases, superfluous duties, setting up of District Legal Cells in the DC offices, providing of official vehicles and special identification of vehicles while performing the duties as duty magistrates.
He said, the common demands of the revenue officers include for regular promotion of CDC Tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars, the decision on ACP cases, superfluous duties were also discussed in detail with an appeal to the government to accept the same.
Earlier in the meeting, the action of the Vigilance and Police Department for registration of cases, by going against the instructions of the government was condemned. All the present also showed they are united and appealed to cancel all the police cases.
In meeting, Bhupinder Singh Tehsildar,Vice President, Surinder Singla, Finance Secretary, Manjit Singh, Lkhwinder Singh Vipan Sharma, Tehsildr, Vijay Kumar Behal Gurmit Singh, Vipan Kumar, Jaswnat Singh, Charanjit Singh, Sham Lal and Smt.Charanjit Kaur, Naib Tehsildars were present.
