RTS Commissioner bats for concerted efforts for effective and time-bound services
Ferozepur, September 25, 2017: RTS Commissioner Mr. RP Mittal (IPS Retd.) today underlined the significance of Right to Service (RTS) Act and said that the act have been instrumental in creating unprecedented awareness amongst the people regarding effective and time-bound service delivery system.
Presiding over a meeting of the officers of district administration to review the implementation of the RTS Act, Mr. Mittal said that the need of the hour was to work dedicatedly towards implementing this act in true letter and spirit. He said that this Act has empowered every common man in the state to get the services from the government in a time-bound manner. Mr. Mittal said that the administration must make concerted efforts to ensure that people do not face any sort of problem in availing the services.
He said that display board regarding the available services to the people and their time limit must be installed in the offices. Likewise, Mr. Mittal also underscored the need for installing boards at Sewa/ Sanjh Kendras for providing check list to the applicants for applying any certificate.
Taking part in deliberations, the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ramvir said that the district administration was committed for implementing this Act in true spirit, so that people could be benefitted from it. He assured the commissioner that the district administration would make all out efforts to ensure that people could be immensely benefitted from it.
