“Jashan-2017” – Annual Cultural Function organized at SBS State Technical Campus

Ferozepur, April 24, 2017:  "Jashan-2017" – an annual cultural  function, was organized in  Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus.  Dr. T.S Sidhu  Campus Director,   was the chief guest of  this occasion. The chief guest inaugurated the function by Lamp Lightening ceremony. Dr. Amit Arora Incharge SECA  welcomed Dr. Sidhu , all faculty, staff and students.

                          A very beautiful cultural extravaganza displaying the gigantic inherent talent in young students of SBSSTC was performed by  SECA ‘Society of Extra Curricular Activities’ in the presence of  the Associate Director Dr. Lalit Sharma under the guidance of Dr. A K Tyagi Chief Counselor, Mr.Tejpal Verma Dean Sports and Culture Activities, Incharge SECA  Dr. Amit Arora, Members  SECA, Gurpreet Singh, Balwinder Singh Mohie , Ar. Aakriti Manchanda, AP Baljeet Singh, AP Gagandeep Luthra.   The entire audience was thrilled by stunning performances of events like  , Choreography , Solo Dance, Fusion, Music Band, Duet Singing, , Mime , Bhangra , Mono acting etc.The  titles of Mr. and Miss. Jashan-2017 were awarded to Mr. Kartike of CSE and  Ms. Sheetal Sharma student of Chemical Engg. Overall trophy bagged by CSE Deptt. 

Chief Guest  Dr. T S Sidhu ,in his speech congratulated SECA Team and student presidents Pushkar Kaushik and Ayush Tripathi  for conducting this cultural program successfully and assured all his possible efforts from his side so that this institute can achieve the heights and bring name and fame to this border area.

Dr. Sidhu further told that many cultural and technical events are being organized in campus for the overall development of students. He also praised Mr. Tejpal Verma, Dr. Amit Arora and his SECA team for organizing a well arranged and enjoyable function. All HODs/Deans/Faculty members/all staff and huge number of students were present during the whole function.

Finally, Dr. Amit Arora in his vote of thanks praised Campus Director Dr. T.S. Sidhu for sparing time for the function despite of his very busy schedule and for providing all possible help for arranging this function. At the end all dignitaries were honored and all winner students of different events were awarded with trophies. As judges of all events Principal Ravinder Kaur Sidhu,S. Kulwinder Singh ADYS, Prof. Parmpreet Kaur, Prof. Maninder Kaur Sidhu, Lecturer Sulekha Rani Verma, Mrs. Garima Arora, Ar. O P Manchanda and S. Gurinder Singh done excellent job during the entire function.
