Under ‘Clean Rail-Clean India’ drive, Sant Nirnakari Charitable Foundation adopts 263 Railway Stations

Ferozepur, February 23, 2017: Today, on 63rd birth anniversary of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation – SNCF – started nationwide cleanliness drive to clean 263 railway stations by the followers of Nirankari Mission from 8 am to 12 noon.

 The nationwide cleanliness drive is a part of its ‘Clean Rail-Clean India’ drive. Hundreds of volunteers of Nirankari Mission swept the platforms, washrooms, reservation and ticket offices and parking areas.

In Ferozepur railway division, 14 stations were selected – Dasuya, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Malsian Shahkot, Palampur Himachal, Amritsar, Feroepur Cantt, Jalandhar City and Cantt, Jammu, Ludhiana, Pathankot, Phagwara and Udhampur.

Today’s campaign showed that even though the drive has continued for the last six months, the volunteers participated with the same enthusiasm.

Talking to media persons, Ashok Kataria, a missionary said, Sant Nirankari mission as part of its moto of ‘Nar Sewa– Narayan Sewa’ has been actively participating in social activities like cleanliness drive, tree plantation and blood donation camps from time to time. The members and volunteers of Sewa Dal participated in the cleanliness drive with zeal and enthusiasm.
