Betting starts for Punjab Polls – Affidavit goes viral on Social Media
Ferozepur, August 21, 2016 : A agreement on stamp paper of Rs.50 between Jaspreet Singh son of Baggar Singh of village Saidoke (Moga) and Satnam Singh son of Mohinder Singh of the same village has gone viral on social media and giving an indication of betting started ahead of Punjab polls.
In the agreement, Satnam Singh has agreed to pay Rs.50,000 to Jaspreet Singh in the event of formation of Aam Aadmi Party government. It has further been agreed upon that in case any other government of Akali-BJP or Congress comes to power, he will pay Rs.50,000.
The agreement is dated 10-8-2016 duly signed by Satnam Singh with five witnesses Karnail Sigh, Gurpreet Singh, Kamaljit Sigh, Avtar Singh and Davinder Singh.
It looks that the betting has started for Punjab Polls in favour of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) – which has already given 4 MPs during the last Parliament elections and has become active in view of the coming Assembly elections due in early 2017.
