Orphans find brothers when Kamal Sharma celebrates Raksha Bandhan at Arya Anathalaya with orphanages with zest
Ferozepur, August 18, 2016: Kamal Sharma, former BJP President Punjab and National Executive Committee Member today celebrated Raksha Bandhan at Arya Anathalaya with orphanages with zest.
Orphanges, jails, old age homes, blind home, leprosy asharam are the places where the public involvement is necessary on certain festivals to make them feel of inmates of families.
At the same time, due to nuclear families children are deprived of true spirit of the festival these days and such celebrations teach kids about our traditions which helps to bind them with our culture and heritage.
The female inmates of Arya Anathalaya tied rakhis on the wrist of Kamal Sharma, who offered them sweets and took keen interest in the functioning of the orphanage. He wished the inmates a joyous occasion to celebrate the bond of love of a brother and sister.
It was really a memorable moment for me to be with the inmates of Arya Anathalaya because they don’t know anyone in their family and by visiting the campus; I have made them not to have such feeling, said Kamal Sharma.
Devinder Bajaj, District President BJP, Ashwani Grover, President, Municipal Council, Jugraj Singh Katora, Chairman, Market Committee were also present on this occasion.
