Suwidha Centres to provide services from 7 AM to 7 PM

Ferozepur, July 28, 2016: To bring efficiency in the system, a surprise checking was made by the Deputy Commissioner, Er DPS Kharbanda  to Suwidha Centre and DTO office for checking the services being provided to the people.

Paramdeep Singh DTO was also with him during the checking.  DC ordered the officials of the Suwidha Centre to provide the services to the people on time so that people may not face any problem and to avoid repeated visits in the Suwidh/Fard centres.

During the checking, Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the visitors and asked their problems and certain problems were solved the problems there and then like installation of more air conditioners to overcome the suffocation due to large number of visitors.

He also directed the officials to provide the information under RTI Act immediately to the applicants within the stipulated time otherwise stern action would be taken against those who delay the information or deny to provide the information.

Keeping in view the hot weather conditions and rush of visitors, the Deputy Commissioner told the people that the time table of the Suwidha Centres had been extended from 7 AM to 7 PM for the convenience of the visitors and also to speed up the work at the Centre.
