Lions Club Ferozepur organizes Medical Camp for Sugar and Cholesterol Checkup Camp

On July 31, 2024, the Lions Club of Ferozepur City organized a free blood sugar and cholesterol check-up camp at Anil Baghi Memorial Park, near Chowk Naamdev. The camp ran from 6:00 am to 7:30 am, with tests conducted by Shyam Healthcare Lab.

A total of 55 people participated in the event, receiving valuable information about the importance of monitoring blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Elevated blood glucose levels, such as those found in diabetes, are closely linked to higher cholesterol levels, posing significant health risks.

The event was attended by Lion Gurmeet Singh, the Club President, Gagan Aggarwal, the Secretary, and other club members, who emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups for early detection and prevention of related health issues.
