Ferozepur, June 7, 2023: Large scale conversion is a matter of serious concern. Along with the government, people themselves need to come forward to stop conversion said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) National Executive Member, Indresh Kumar, who was here in the city to participate in the function of a private Harmony Ayurvedic college adding that Punjab is the place where sacrifices were made for the protection of religion.
Indresh Kumar termed the increasing conversion in Punjab as worrying and that if there is religious conversion, there will be chaos in the world and that is why people should respect all religions instead of converting.
He said that he himself is a Punjabi and was also born in Samana. He will cooperate in every campaign against conversion in Punjab. Indresh Kumar said that Pakistan’s plight is only because of its deeds. He said that in 1971, Pakistan was divided into Bangladesh. Bangladesh adopted the policy of friendship with neighbourers, due to which today there is an atmosphere of peace on the borders of the three countries and there has been a decrease in infiltration. He also paid tributes to those killed in the Odisha train accident and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
