93 COVID+ve cases, 5 deaths reported in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, June 8, 2021: After three days dip in Covid positive cases in the district, on Tuesday, it has again gone up to 93 casesn with recover of 114 cases.
As per the report, 1,86,595 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,72,696 were tested negative, 13,453 positive, 12,305 recovered, 724 active cases.
With five deaths of 62 to 75 years, 4 female one male, the death tally has gone to 423 in the district.
30 containment and micro containment zones are still under observation of health department.
No new case of Black fungus has been reported and out of 8 Black Fungus cases reported, still five are under treatment at the hospital level while two have cured and one died.
In the vaccination drive, today 642 persons were given Covid vaccine making the total as on date to 1,30,524 persons including the frontline and health workers.
