Two trains cancelled, 3 short-terminated, 11 diverted over farmers’ protest in Punjab
Ferozepur, February 16, 2021: The railway has cancelled, short-terminated, diverted as many as 16 trains in Punjab due to the on-going farmers agitation in Punjab as the negotiation at all levels have failed to break an impasse as both government is adamant for any amendment in the laws while the farmers outfits are not accepting less than repealing of 3-Farm Laws.
The two cancelled trains are 05211 Darbhanga-Amritsar express secial commencing on 15.2.2021 and 05212 Anrutsar-Darbhanga commencing on 17.2.2021.
The short terminated/short originated three trains are – 02715 Nanded- Amritsar exp JCO 17.02.21 will be short terminated at Chandigarh. Consequently, the 02716 Amritsar-Nanded exp. JCO 19.02.21 will short originate from Chandigarh and remain partially cancelled between Chandigarh -Amritsar- Chandigarh. 08237 Korba – Amritsar exp JCO 17.02.21 will be short terminated at Ambala. Consequently, the 08238 Amritsar-Korba exp. JCO 19.02.21 will short originate from Ambala and remain partially cancelled between Ambala -Amritsar- Ambala. 09613 Ajmer – Amritsar exp JCO 17.02.21 will be short terminated at Jallandhar City . Consequently, the 09612 Amritsar-Ajmer exp. JCO 18.02.21 will short originate from Jallandhar City and remain partially cancelled between Jallandhar City -Amritsar- Jallandhar City.
Likewise, the 11 diverted trains are- The 02903 Mumbai Central- Amritsar express special JCO 16.02.21 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar, the 02904 Amritsar- Mumbai Central express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas, the 02925 Bandra Terminus – Amritsar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Beas-Tarntaran – Amritsar, the 02926 Amritsar- Bandra Terminus express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas, the 04673 /04649 Jaynagar- Amritsar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar, the 04650/04674 Amritsar- Jaynagar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas, the 04652 Amritsar-Jaynagar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas, the 04654 Jaynagar-Amritsar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar, tThe 02407 Newjalpaiguri- Amritsar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar, the 02054 Amritsar- Haridwar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar, the 02053 Haridwar – Amritsar express special JCO 17.02.21 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
