376 complaints during Police Rahat Camps in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 2, 2024: The Police Rahat Camps were organized at all the police stations, police posts and other concerned offices of Ferozepur district under the directions of Soumya Mishra, SSP. The Ferozepur police claimed to have resolved a total of 376 complaints in a day during the Rahat camp held today.
SSP Mishra who was also present in some of the camps along with Randhir Kumar, SP(D) said, the instructions were given to the senior officers to consider the complaints from the public and to resolve the same within the framework of law. Earlier also similar camps were organized on February 18, in which 325 complaints were taken up in the camps and the same were resolved on the spot. The police had summoned complainants and recipients of the cases to the police station to dispose of the complaints amicably”.
She said, the district police Ferozepur is taking serious action to ensure timely redressal of public complaints transparently and it will continue to be a priority of the police department and a regular feature to organize Police Rahat Camps, in the future as well.
