17th Mohan Lal Bhaskar Art and Theatre Festival poster released
Ferozepur October 31, 2021: The poster of the 17th Mohanlal Theatre Festival was released on Saturday Morning. The festival is organized by Mohan Lal Bhaskar Education Society & Foundation which has been working for the past many years for the purpose of honouring the elders in the society. Mrs. Prabha Bhaskar Patron in Chief, MLB Ed. Society & Foundation graced the occasion with her blessings.
Prof. H K Gupta, Vice President described the event and informed that the 17th Mohan Lal Bhaskar Art & Theatre Festival will begin with a cricket tournament, including several sections of the society from October 31 to November 27, including lawyers, doctors, businessmen of organizations, business officers and 12 different teams from urban and rural areas will participate. The final match of this cricket tournament will be held at the playground of Vivekananda World School in the full bloom of the moon.
Providing a platform for individuals interested in photography to showcase their talents from November 1 to November 8, an online photography competition will be held on the themes Festival, Faces, Nature and Street Photos.
A Medical Camp will be organized on Nov 14 in the memory of Late S.Manminder Singh, Former S.S.P, Ferozepur in cooperation with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana in the premises of Vivekananda World School by specialists like Cardiologist, Dermatologist, Gastroenterologist, etc. On the same day, a Blood Donation Camp will also be organized with the aim of keeping the memory of Amit Sharma (former member of MLB Foundation) alive among the people.
On November 30, Candle March will be organised with the motto ‘To raise voice to respect your elders’ .
On the evening of December 4, the finale event will be welcome by ‘ Mushaira’ where poets from various corners of India will not only entertain the audience by spreading their magic of shayari but also guide them in facing day to day difficulties in life in their own philosophical poetic way.
It is hereby pertinent to mention that Sh. Mohan Lal Bhaskar had spent 6 and a half years in jail in Pakistan serving for India. Facing different difficulties to the economic, mental and social situation on return, he founded the Manav Mandir School on 1983 with the aim of providing better education to the backward and poor sections of the society. He expressed the story of his life as a spy in Pakistan, through a book, published in 10 languages and was awarded with the National Award in 1989.
Dr. S N Rudra, Vice President of MLB Ed. Society & Foundation while giving information told that Mohanlal Bhaskar Ed. Society & Foundation was established under the leadership of Mrs. Prabha Bhaskar with the aim of keeping the memory of Late Sh. Mohan Lal Bhaskar always fresh and honoring the elders of the society. On this occasion, Jhalkeshwar Bhaskar, Gaurav Sagar Bhaskar, Dr. SN Rudra, Gagan Singhal, Ashir Sagar Bhaskar, Harsh Arora, Mrs. Dali Bhaskar, Mrs. Prabha Bhaskar and Vipin Kumar Sharma etc were present.
