ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ, 19.8.2023: ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਨੇਵਰ ਗਿਵ ਅੱਪ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਇਆ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਮਾਨਸਿਕਤਾ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਰ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ।
ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ.ਐਸ.ਐਨ.ਰੁਦਰਾ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕਈ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਨੇਵਰ ਗਿਵ ਅੱਪ ਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ‘ਹਮ ਹੋੰਗੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ’ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ। ਤਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹਰੀਵੰਸ਼ ਬੱਚਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾਦਾਇਕ ਕਵਿਤਾ ‘ਆੜੇ ਰਹੋ’ ਸੁਣਾਈ। ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ 10 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੋਰਡ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸਫਲ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਸਨ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲਗਨ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ਨਾਲ, ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਨ ਉਚਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
VWS celebrates International Never Give Up Day
Ferozepur, August 19, 2023: Vivekananda World School (VWS) celebrated International Never Give Up Day with great enthusiasm and participation from its students. The event aimed to inspire and motivate children to develop a resilient mindset and never give up in the face of challenges.
Never Give Up Day is celebrated annually on August 18th. It is a global celebration day focused on cultivating a mindset of determination.
Dr. SN Rudra, School Director, spoke about the significance of this day in the lives of children. He emphasized that in today’s fast-paced world, children often encounter numerous challenges at a young age. International Never Give Up Day serves as a reminder for children to stay determined and always strive to move forward.
The program commenced with a prayer, as the school children sang ‘Hum Honge Kamyaab’ together.
As part of the celebrations, Tarinder Singh, recited the inspiring poem ‘Ade Raho’ by Harivansh Bachchan. The powerful words of the poem resonated with the children and further motivated them to stay resilient in the face of adversity.
Highlighting the spirit of resilience, Ten students from the school’s student counseling team displayed a board featuring the names and pictures of successful individuals from around the world. This visual representation aimed to instill a sense of courage and determination in the children, inspiring them to overcome any challenges they may encounter.
The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the students of Vivekananda World School. It served as a reminder that with perseverance and determination, they can achieve great heights in their lives.
