मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री राजेश अग्रवाल ने बताया कि भारतीय रेलवे ने अपने सभी अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों के साथ-साथ उनके आश्रितों को उमीद (यूनिक मेडिकल आइडेंटिटी कार्ड) के माध्यम से चिकित्सा सुविधा प्रदान किया जा रहा है। उमीद मेडिकल कार्ड सभी चिकित्सा लाभार्थियों को एक विशिष्ट पहचान प्रदान करता है। इसका उपयोग करके भारतीय रेलवे के सभी अस्पतालों एवं रेलवे द्वारा मान्यताप्राप्त सभी निजी अस्पतालों में रेलवे अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों, पेंशनरों और उनके आश्रितों के लिए स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्राप्त करना बहुत आसान और सुविधाजनक हो गया है।

मंडल रेल प्रबंधक ने पेंशनरों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि इस सुविधा का उपयोग करने के लिए वे जल्द-से-जल्द उमीद वेबसाइट digitalir.in/umid पर जाकर रजिस्ट्रेशन कर ले ताकि निकट भविष्य में यह सुविधा अनिवार्य होने पर उन्हें परेशानी का सामना ना करना पड़ें | रजिस्ट्रेशन करते समय उन्हें सिर्फ तीन दस्तासवेज जैसे फोटो, हस्ताक्षर तथा पुराना मेडिकल कार्ड अपलोड करना होगा | रजिस्ट्रेशन के समय पीपीओ अपलोड करना अनिवार्य नहीं है केवल पीपीओ नम्बर भरें जो पेंशन पे स्लिप पर भी अंकित होती है| पीपीओं नंबरों के अर्पण से उमीद में पोर्ट न होने की समस्या को अधिकतम दूर किया जा चुका है | अगर उन्हें कोई समस्या आती है तो वे अपने निकटतम हित निरीक्षक कार्यालय से संपर्क कर सकते है अथवा टेलीग्राम ग्रुप UMID CARD FZR से ग्रुप लिंक https://t.me/umidfzr से जुड़ सकते हैं |

Railways’ innovative UMID Card brings health services for its employees

Ferozepur, March 19, 2021:  Indian Railways has enhanced the health services for all employees and pensioners as well as their dependents. The newly launched UMID (Unique Medical Identity Card) seems very innovative and revolutionary, said Rajesh Aggarwal, Divisional Rail Manager, Ferozepur Division.

He said, the UMID Card provides a unique identity to all medical beneficiaries. By using this, it has become very easy and convenient to get health services for railway officers, employees, pensioners and their dependents in all the hospitals of Indian Railways and all private hospitals recognized by the Railways.

Appealing to the pensioners, the DRM said that to use this facility, they should visit UMID website digitalir.in/umid as soon as possible so that they do not face any trouble if this facility becomes mandatory in the near future, he added.

He further said, at the time of registration, they only have to upload three documents like photos, signatures and old medical cards. Uploading PPO is not mandatory at the time of registration; just fill the PPO number which is also mentioned on the pension payslip.
