Youth admitted in hospital after suspected drug overdose

Ferozepur, June 25, 2018:  Following the mass drug overdose, one person resident of Nawan Purba, namely Gurpreet Singh son Chela Singh was admitted in the local hospital in serious condition but the family members have raised many important questions over the action of the police.

Charanjit Singh, uncle of Gurpreet Singh and cousin of Gurbhej Singh informed that they had got arrested one youth involved in drug supply in the village but the police is not ready to take any action.   They also informed that due drug overdose, earlier one youth has already died in the village.

However, it was not clear as to what drugs were taken by Gurpreet Singh and how they are marketed but police authorities are not taking any concrete steps to stop this menace when clearly the poisonous and dangerous drugs are circulating now around the village.
