VWS and BSF celebrated Children Day at Indo Pak Border.
Ferozepur November 14, 2018: Under the guidance of Mrs Prabha Bhaskar patron in chief of VWS, the birthday of children’s favourite leader and India's first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, annually as 'Children day', was today celebrated with Jawans of BSF at their Border out Post Basti Ram Lal, situated near Indo-Pak Border, with the great cooperation of Mr.Sandeep Chanan, DIG BSF, Ferozepur sector,
Today morning Mr.Des Raj, Commandant of 77 Bn of BSF along with students of Vivekananda World School reached Basti Ram Lal where kids were apprised of weapons and modern electronic equipment
used by security personnel in the safeguard of the nation.
Vivekananda's also witnessed a thrilling volleyball match between local youth and BSF jawans on the occasion.
Children of Vivekananda World School enthralled the audiences with a Cultural programme.
Dr S N Rudra, Director of Vivekananda World School paid gratitude to the rank and file of BSF for facilitating such a great chance to celebrate the day in a unique manner. Dr. S N Rudra , also paid tributes to the Jawans who endlessly serve the Nation day and night.
Meanwhile Team of Dashmesh Dental College organized a Dental check camp.
Children of Various Government School Basti Ram Lal also showed their skills in various cultural activities.
At the end Dr. S. N. Rudra concluded the function by presenting a momento on behalf of Vivekananda World School to Commandant Sh. Des Raj and Company Commander of Basti Ram Lal Chwki, Inspector Anand Kullu.
