Two held while entering Zira Liquor Factory with fake PPCB letter, IDs

Ferozepur, August 9, 2023: The Zira police apprehended two persons who had come to fill the sample with forged documents in the disputed liquor factory in village Mansoorwal which was closed on the orders of the Punjab government.

Balwinder Singh resident village Mahia Wala Kala district Ferozepur said that on Wednesday two persons came by car from village Mansoorwal liquor factory to fill samples, they had a laptop and laboratory kit. Both showed copies of their identity cards and permission slips from different departments.

He said that they are not employees of any laboratory and had  come from Gurgaon and Noida at the request of someone I’d to be employees of Hindustan Analytical and Testing Laboratory. When we opened his laptop and checked, it was found that his identity card and permission letter of different departments had been forged. On finding out about this, the villagers handed over the car and the equipment along with the two persons and their forged documents to the police.

On the other hand, Sub-Inspector Balraj Singh, who is investigating the case, said that after the police checked the documents about a letter of a PPCB Environmental Engineer and no such letter had been issued from their office , they were found to be forged and after the investigation of the case, the  two persons were found to be accused. A case has been registered against them by identifying them as Sachit Kumar Rashna son of Indra Dev Rana resident of Street No. 5 Shankarpur Inst. Delhi and Manish Sharma son of Ramesh Sharma resident of Unit No. 201, Sector 26, Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the IPC at Zira Sadar Police Station.
