Two deaths and 54 Corona +ve cases reported in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 28, 2021:  The graph of Corona gradually rising upward for the last one month with reporting of 54 new positive cases and two deaths in the district taking the toll of active cases to 276 and 174 respectively.

Since the outbreak of coronavirus 107701 samples were taken, 101883 have been reported as negative, 5166 positive, 4726 recovered and results of 652 still awaited. Two deaths of 51 years and 58 years male have also been reported in Mamdot and Ferozepur Urban blocks, taking the death toll to 164 in the district.

Despite the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine, so far t registration is only  24110 against which 20620 have since been vaccinated of 45 plus age groups for first and second doses which comes to 85.5 percent.
