Two Corona +ve accused flee from hospital under police custody

Ferozepur, August 19, 2020:  Two alleged accused arrested in cheating and theft cases and taken to the hospital after the police remand for Corona testing, fled from the custody of the police, after tested positive, while kept in the Isolation Ward

As per the information, the accused have been identified as Bachitter Singh of Tarn Taran, Pinku of Ferozepur.  They fled from the hospital by dodging the police and health officials.  Both were arrested on August 11 and tested positive.  They were admitted in the hospital and ran away last night.

SSP, Ferozepur, Bhupinder Singh informed that the special teams of police have been put into action to nab the accused by making raids at the possible hideouts. Both will be arrested shortly.

A case has been registered by the police for violating the Disaster Management Act and stepping out of the Isolation Ward without authorization.
