Swarnim Vijay Marshaal arrives at Ferozepur Military Station
Ferozepur, February 5, 2021: The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal to commemorate the 50™ anniversary celebrations of India’s decisive victory over Pakistan in 1971 War reached Ferozepur Military Station, the Land of Martyrs today. The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal arrival at Golden Arrow Division was accorded a grand reception by all Ranks stationed at Ferozepur during the Flag-in ceremony organised at Captain Sunder Singh Stadium in presence of General Officer Commanding, Golden Arrow Division. The Mashaal was received by Naik Boota Singh (Retd), a 1971 War Veteran, among other Veteran participants of the war.
As a tribute to the war heroes of 1971 War, Indian Army while commemorating the grand victory also paid a tribute and felicitated the Veterans and Veer Naris for their contribution to the Nation in leading to the victory over our adversary. The Mashaal will be taken to the famous battle fields in Vajra Corps – The Defenders of Punjab, namely Mamdot, Hussainiwala, Sehjra, Asal Uttar & Chhina Bidhi Chand.
