Streamline Welfare Society organizes Declamation Contest

Ferozepur, February 8 :  The Streamline Welfare Society – a leading NGO in the city – organized Declamation Contest among the students of Gurukul Model School, Border Road, Ferozepur City on various burning topics of the society.

Giving this information, Diwan Chand Sukhija, President of the Society said, the topic included in the declamation contest were – Female Foeticide, Crowding Population, Stopping Copying during exams, Respect towards parents and teachers and Drugs.

All the students of the school spoke on different topics with a message to the society to shun the menace of social evils.

Speaking on the occasion, Naseeb Singh Gill, Principal, Yogesh Malik, Vice Principal said, the initiative taken by the SWS is appreciated.  Such programmes create confidence among the students besides giving a message to the society.

On this occasion, Sukhmani Sahib bhog was organized followed by langar and students were honoured by the SWS.

Parents of the students and prominent persons of the city were also present in the programme.
