State BJP Chief Vijay Sampla kicks of his Vijay Sankalap Yatra from National Martyrs Memorial in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, December 29: Vikramditya Sharma : Fissures among BJP cadre in Ferozepur once again surfaced today during “Vijay Sankalp Rally” which was started from Hussainiwala Martyr Memorial today. Amidst the presence of Cabinet Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani, Vijay Sampla, Punjab BJP Chief and other leaders, former MLA and Punjab President of BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhpal Singh Nannu and BJP ticket aspirant Gurparvez Singh Shaila, jolted their muscle to prove their strength in front of top BJP Brass. It is pertinent to mention here that since the BJP has not announced its candidates from Ferozepur, the supporters of Nannu and Shaila are at loggerheads with each other. However, when asked, Vijay Sampla, Punjab BJP Chief, remained mum over the candidature. He said that the Centre high command will announce the name of the candidate from Ferozepur.
During his address, Sampla while addressing the huge congregation, minced no word and targeted Congress leader Capt. Amarinder Singh and AAP. Sampla said that during his rallies, captain talks about development but during his tenure he could even provide electricity in the rural areas. Firing one salvo after another on Capt. Amarinder, Sampla said that Capt. has started a programmed called “Coffee with Captain”, but we all know that he does not like Coffee but something else. While targeting AAP leadership and especially Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann, Sampla said that though AAP leader claim to eradicate drug menace from Punjab, the fact is this that in the recent times, more than 200 new liquor wands has been started in Delhi only. “Ehna di kathni te karni wich bada farq he”, he said. Taking a jibe on Bhagwant Mann for his alleged drinking habits, Sampla said Bhagwant might be thinking of eradicating drug problem by drinking the whole liquor of Punjab.
Surjit Kumar Jyani, Cabinet Minister Punjab, said that it is certain that SAD-BJP will form the government for the third consecutive time. He said that the people of Punajb will certainly support the policies and the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The rally which was started today will finish its journey on 8th January 2017 at Amritsar.
