Chemistry question paper of Plus 2 Pb School Education Board has certain discrepancies

Malout, March 14, 2018: Principal Vijay Garg and Lecturer Chemistry Sureshta Mam told about problems regarding chemistry question paper of XII P.S.E.B. Exam (Session 2017-18) held on 12/3/2018.

1. The difficulty level of most of the questions was quite high.
2. The mark-division of sub-parts of 4 and 6 marks questions were not specified.
3. One of the 4 marks numerical related to “concentration cells” was out of syllabus as it is not mentioned in P.S.E.B. text book.
4. One of the 2 mark questions regarding “difference between macromolecular and associated colloids” should also be considered out of syllabus as the topic of “associated colloids” is not mentioned in prescribed board syllabus.
