Sports Minister lays Foundation Stone of Skating Rink at Vivekananda World School, Ferozepur

Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, laying the foundation stone of ‘Skating Rink’ at Vivekananda World School, Ferozepur, on Saturday.

Ferozepur, April 28, 2018: Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, the Sports and Youth Minister, Government of Punjab laid the foundation stone of skating rink at Vivekananda World School, Ferozepur on Saturday.

The Sports Minister was greatly impressed to see the world-class infrastructure of the school. He congratulated Prabha Bhaskar, the Patron, and Gaurav Sagar Bhaskar, the Chairman of the school and appreciated the efforts put in by the school management to have built a school committed to providing stress-free education and ensuring the holistic growth of the children by striking a balance among academics, sports and other co-curricular activities.

The Sports Minister also assured the school management of providing all possible support to promote sports and games in the region.

Dr S. N. Rudra, the Director of the school threw light on the vision and mission of the school.

Gaurav Sagar Bhaskar expressed his gratitude towards the Sports Minister for sparing time to pay a visit to the school and motivating the school staff and management.
