Soumya Mishra SSP flags off 4 vehicles under  ‘Sadak Surakhya Force’ in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, February 13, 2024:  To streamline traffic, prevent road accidents and provide swift medical assistance, Soumya Mishra SSP today flagged off 4 vehicles, as per the instructions of DGP in Ferozepur under  ‘Sadak Surakhya Force’ which is the brain-child of Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Soumya Mishra said that on these 4 vehicles, 44 employees have been deployed and they will be on duty round-the-clock.  These vehicles will be on duty on different routes of district Ferozepur – Ferozepour to Talwandi (TH-5), Ferozepur to Zira (CH-20), Ferozepur to Harike and Jandwala (TH-54) and Ferozepur to Makhu (TH354 and TH703).

She said, the main duties of the posted personnel are to attend to the injured persons during road accidents, providing first aid and evacuating them to hospital as soon as possible, to solve any kind of traffic problem on the road.  She said that in case of any emergency, the common man can avail of this facility by making a call at 112.

Due to the influx of vehicles, it is important to provide medical assistance as soon as possible during the emergency, during the Golden Hour and it is hoped that these will contribute to saving the lives of people. Our skilled team and advanced vehicles are committed to ensuring safer roads for everyone, she added.
