SBS State Technical Campus continues the ‘Green Movement’ in the campus
Ferozepur September 25, 2017: Continuing the efforts of making green local Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus – known for its lush green campus spread over 100 acres and contribution to environment besides offering quality technical education – the Horticulture Department, under the leadership of Estate Officer Sunil Behal, launched a campaign for decorative saplings.
The campaign was inaugurated by the campus director Dr T. S Sidhu. The registrar of the institute JK Aggarwal and the administrative officer Gaurav Kumar also joined.
Added here, the campus had already bagged the Punjab Green State Award.
Dr. Sidhu said that the Horticulture Department of the institute is constantly working to make the Campus green under the leadership of Narinder Singh Bajwa, which has made it a special attraction for the region by greening.
He said that these efforts have also been made in the near future and the seminars are regularly organized to educate the students from this institute about the environment.
On this occasion Campus PRO Balwinder Singh Mohie, Assistant Estate Officer Gurpreet Singh, Incharge Horticulture Ashok Kumar, Gurmeet Singh and Charles Gill were present.
