Sarbat Khalsa starts Gurdwara Parbandh Sudhar Lehar campaign from Ferozepur
Ferozepur, June 23, 2017: Gurdwara Parbandh Sudhar Lehar campaign was started from Gjuru Arjan Dev Ji Gurdawara Sahib at Ferozepur on Thursday by the sangat associated with Sarbat Khalsa. Under this movement, all the ‘Granthi Singhs’ of all the gurdwaras in the state will be united to create awareness towards the traditions of the panth.
The campaign was started by the jathedars appointed by Sarbat Khalsa – Jathedar Dhyan Singh Mand, BaljitSingh Daduwal and Amrit Singh Ajnala.
According to them, the SGPC has forgotten its responsibilities and has become puppet in the hands of one family and the Sikh panth is need of major reforms. They admitted that the problems being faced by the Granthi Singhs will be solved by the Sikh Panth.
Speaking to the media persons, Bhai Dhyan Singh Mand said, SGPC is the result of sacrifices by the Sikh Panth but it could not play its role properly and the end result is that the Sikh youths have gone off the right track. To bring the youths back on the right way, the Granthi Singhs will be trained besides taking steps to make them economically sound.
According to Mand, the granthis will be trained in such a way that the roots of Sikh traditions move from granthis to the resident of common and attaching them with the Sri Akal Takht. attaching them with the Akal Takht.
