‘Sankalp Se Sidhi’ programme held at JCP Hussainiwala

Ferozepur, September 10, 2017: People from across the country today took New India Pledge ‘Sankalp Se Sidhi’ at Hussainiwala Border in Ferozepur (Punjab), to collectively strengthen their motherland to resolve to make India free of the factors which are becoming stumbling stones in its progress. They were here to watch the retreat ceremony.

They pledged to make India terrorism, communalism and poverty – TCP free. People also pledged to keep India clean.

Amritsar based unit of the Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP) of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in coordination with the Border Security Force (BSF) organised this special oath taking ceremony as part of the New India Movement-'Sankalp Se Sidhi'.

Earlier, the same ceremony was organized at Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post in Amritsaron August 23. Over 15000 people from various parts of the country pledged here to weed out these enemies of development. People also vowed in one voice to make the country corruption free to strengthen it further to touch new heights.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to take India to new heights, Field Publicity Officer Rajesh Bali, while administering the oath said that when the countrymen pledge together, the nation is bound to touch new horizons in every field.

Border Security Force, Punjab Frontiers, Inspector General Mukul Goel lauded the people who had come in large number here to watch the retreat ceremony and to boost the morale of the BSF, the first line of defence. Quoting Winston Churchill that “when there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you”, he said we can unitedly take the challenges head on which the country is facing now a days.
