RSS celebrates Foundation Day, performs ‘Shastra Pooja’
Ferozepur, October 19, 2018: Spectacular Path Sanchalan – full dress Route-March and Shastra Pooja (Weapon Worship) was held by Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sang –RSS – Swayamsevaks, who were celebrating the foundation of the RSS – led by Kamal Sharma, former BJP President and National Executive Committee Member, on Friday evening on Dushera celebrations.
The route march after passing through the main bazaars ended at Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk.
On this occasion, a message to remain united and maintain communal harmony by Kamal Sharma.
He said the founder chief of RSS Dr Hedgevar had laid the foundation of Sangh on the Dussehra at Nagpur in 1925 to unite Hindus all over the globe. He said Sangh since then has performed a vital role in strengthening unity and integrity of the nation, promoting brotherhood and also fighting casteism.
He said for the unity, integrity and nation-building of the country, Hindutva's nationalist forces need to be stronger because anti-national forces can be failed only if we all face together with anti-national forces and give them a befitting reply.
