Rotarians’ Anti-Drug Rally on Cycles – “Leave Drugs-Move Ahead” – gets warm welcome at Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 19, 2016: Anti-Drug Rally on cycles organized with an aim to create awareness among the youths of Punjab about the ill-effects with the use of drugs, by the Rotarians of Patiala was given a warm welcome by the members of local Rotary Club and Paddlers Club on reaching Ferozepur.
In this rally, ten Rotarians participate and they were received by Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross and Senior Citizen Harish Monga on entering the Ferozepur jurisdiction. The rally was welcomed by waiving hands, on the way at Mall Road by the citizens bat Truck Union, Management of Manav Mandir School and Paddlers Club, Ferozepur.
Speaking on this occasion, Rtn Dharamvir Garg District Governor who himself was a part of the team of rally on cycle right from Patiala, said – the rally will cover the whole of Punjab to convey the message to make Drug Free India. He said, the third generation youths are addicted to drugs and efforts are being made to take them out of this social evil.
Rtn Garg leader of the team expressed his happiness over the response from the people throughout the rally. He appealed all to join hands to make the Drug Free World and it could only be possible if everyone contribute to eradicate the social evil from the society.
Present among others on this occasion were Lovkesh Kakkar, President Rotary Club, Pardeep Bindra, Secretary, Vijay Monga, Past President, Vijay Arora, S.S.Kapoor, Cashier, Dr.Satinder Singh, Sohan Singh, Inder Singh Gogia, Vipan Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Satish Machhral, Bal Krishan Saluja were present.
