Recovery of mobile phones exposes security chinks in Central Jail

Ferozepur, October 28, 2018: The security arrangements at Central Jail are once again under the scanner with the recovery of mobile phone from the prisoner under trail and a case on the report of Assistant Superintendent Jail has been registered against the prisoner identified as Talwainder Singh.

During the routine checking, one mobile phone Samsung brand along with battery and SIM card of Airtel operator was recovered from the prisoner during the checking of Block No.1, Barrack No.3.

Davinderplal Singh, Hav informed that a case under 52-A Prisons Act  1894 has been registered and further investigations are on against the prisoner Talwinder Singh son Jaswant Singh of Jhariwala village in Fazilka district.
