Randhir Kumar assumes charge as SP(D) at Ferozepur

Ferozepur, January 25, 2022:  Randhir Kumar, IPS 2019 batch, has assumed the charge of Superintendent Police (D) at Ferozepur.

Prior to this posting, he has served as ASLP in Ropar and ACPL at Model Town, Jalandhar.

Speaking to media persons, Randhir Kumar said, his priorities will be – curb on drugs, gangster, illegal arms, smuggling etc besides visible policing also and enforcing traffic rules.

2019 ਬੈਚ ਦੇ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ. ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਡੀ. ਦਾ ਅਹੁੱਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਰੋਪੜ ਵਿਖੇ ਏ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਅਤੇ ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਏ.ਸੀ.ਪੀ. ਦੇ ਅਹੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।

ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਤਮਾ, ਗੁੰਡਾਗਰਦੀ,  ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹਥਿਆਰ, ਸਮਗਲਿੰਗ ਆਦਿ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਗੈਰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੱਥ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਟਰੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
