Railways issue fresh train operation plan due on-going Punjab farmers’ agitation
Ferozepur, December 5, 2020: Since the talks between Punjab farmers and Centre remain inconclusive over three Farm Laws and due to on-going agitation of the farmers in the State, the railway has issued fresh train operation plan for cancellation, short termination and short origination of certain trains.
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS : The 05531 Saharsa- Amritsar express special train JCO 06.12.20 will remain cancelled. Consequently, the 05532 Amritsar – Saharsa special train JCO 07.12.20 will also remain cancelled.
SHORT TERMINATION/ SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS:- 02715 Nanded- Amritsar exp JCO 06.12.20 will be short terminated at NewDelhi. Consequently, the 02716 Amritsar-Nanded exp. JCO 08.12.20 will short originate from NewDelhi and remain partially cancelled between NewDelhi-Amritsar-NewDelhi. 02925 Bandra Terminus – Amritsar exp JCO 06.12.20 will be short terminated at Chandigarh, Consequently, the 02926Amritsar- Bandra Terminus exp. JCO 08.12.20 will short originate from Chandigarh and remain partially cancelled between Chandigarh-Amritsar- Chandigarh. 04652 Amritsar -Jaynagar express special train JCO 06.12.20 will short originate from Ambala. The 04651 Jaynagar -Amritsar express special train JCO 08.12.20 will be short terminated at Ambala and remain partially cancelled between Ambala and Amritsar. Diversion of trains : The 02904 Amritsar- Mumbai Central express special JCO 05.12.20 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas. The 02903 Mumbai Central- Amritsar express special JCO 04.12.20 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar. The 04649 / 73 Jaynagar – Amritsar express special JCO 04.12.20 will be diverted to run via Beas-Tarntaran – Amritsar. The 04650 /74 Amritsar- Jaynagar express special JCO 06.12.20 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
