Rahul Bhandari assumes charge of Divisional Commissioner Ferozepur
Ferozepur, February 26, 2021: Rahul Bhandari, IAS has taken over the charge of Commissioner Ferozepur Division.
On his arrival at Ferozepur, he was given a guard of honor by the Punjab Police contingent. Rahul Bhandari is 1997 IAS Batch officers.
On this occasion his wife Mrs. Rakhi Gupta Bhandari , Deputy Commissioner Gurpal Singh Chahal , Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Rajdeep Kaur , SDM Amit Gupta and Assistant Commissioner Ravinder Singh Arora was also present.
Rahul Bhandari on joining said, he was happy to have the opportunity to work in Ferozepur, the land of martyrs and he would perform his duty diligently and honestly. He then visited the Shaheed Memorial at Hussainiwala and paid homage to the martyrs at the Samadhi of tombs of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh , Rajguru and Sukhdev. He also paid obeisance at Saragarhi Gurdwara.
Later, he held a meeting with the staff of the office, before visiting the branches, to discuss the functioning of the office and asked the office staff to work honestly and diligently.
