Punjab RSS leaders condemn attack on Jagdish Gagneja

Ferozepur, August 8, 2016:  Attack on Brigadier Jagdish Gagneja (Retd.) Vice president of Punjab RAshtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), by the unidentified persons,  who was shot at in Jalandhar on Saturday night, was condemned by the Punjab RSS leaders of Ferozepur Unit and submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur.

Due to grave condition of Gagneja, he was shifted to DMC Heart Institute, Ludhiana and as per the sources, the condition is stated to be serious as his stomach has been stitch at three places and the intestines at five and there is fluid in the chest.  The Police have constituted ten teams to track down the assailants.

State BJP Chief Vijay Sampla has also said that the attack is not the first and may not be the last for those trying to create unrest in the state.  Along with identifying the assailants, it is important to determine the motive behind the attack.

The RSS leaders led by Raghbir Sharma, Baldev Krishan, Ashwani, Harish Kumar, Radhe Krishan and others demanded immediate arrest of the accused and deal with them severely.
