Provide timely government services under Right to Service Act : V.K.Meena
Construction of 184 Service Centres on war-footing in Ferozepur District
Ferozepur, April 10, 2015 : Provide timely government services under Right to Service Act and speed up the development projects going on in the district, said V.K.Meena, Commissioner, Ferozepur/Faridkot Divisions in a meeting with the heads of various departments.
Er.D.P.S.Kharbnda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur welcoming the Commissioner, V.K.Meena, apprised him about the developments works going on in the district.
V.K.Meena said, the Punjab Government has started to provide various services under Right to Service Act within the stipulated time and these services are made available through the Suwidha Kendras, Saanjh Kendras and Fard Kendras.
He said, apart from this, the government services would be available at the door-steps of the people by establishing the Service Centers at the cluster level.
Commissioner directed the officers that all departments should implement the government policies by coordinating with each other. He said, all the heads of departments should ensure the presence of officers/officials working under them and he will be making surprise checking in the government offices from time to time.
Later, Commissioner also reviewed the services being extended under RTS and Service Centers and progress of the various development projects going on in the district.
Speaking on this occasion, Er.DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner apprised in detail about the 184 Services Centres coming up in the district, development projects and wheat procurement arrangements. He also advised to all the departments to work whole-heartedly to implement the government policies and to provide the good governance and justice to the people.
In this meeting, apart from various heads of departments, Amit Kumar, ADC, Neelma ADC Dev, Sandeep Singh Garha, SDM Ferozepur, Jaspal Singh, SDM Guruharsahai, Jaspal Singh, SDM Zira, Charandeep Singh DTO were present.
