Protocol breach by Congress leaders on I-Day parade

Ferozepur, August 16, 2017:  On the one hand, the government has discarded the VIP culture but during the Independence Day, in a major protocol breach, Congress leaders allegedly rode on the official the Gypsy meant for the chief guest Navjot Singh Sidnu, Cabinet Minister.

Those who boarded the Gypsy were Chamkaur Singh Dhindsa, District Congress President, Inderjit Singh Zira former MLA and brother of Congress MLA Parminder Singh Pinki.  Even the Ferozepur Rural MLA  Satkar Kaur too tried to board because of having no more space.

Sources said, an official responsible for the lapse has been suspended and notice has also been issued to others.

Police chief could not be contacted despite repeated efforts for official confirmation of the action.
