Progressive Federation for Blind, Punjab to hold ‘Sur-Saaz’ event on July 16 in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, July 5, 2022: Progressive Federation for the Blind, Punjab Branch and Rotary Club, Ferozepur Cantt jointly are organizing a musical evening “Sur-Saaz” on July 16, 2022 at 7 pm at Home for the Blind, Makhu Gate, Ferozepur City, said G.K.Kaushal President and Anil Gupta, General Secretary. Ranbir Singh Bhullar, MLA Ferozepur Urban will preside over the function as Chief Guest.
To encourage the visually impaired artists, the Federation will honour Principal, Amrit Pal Sigh, A great scholar and musician and Principal R.K.Saael – a great musicial and poet with Life Time Achievement Award. Besides, young artists – Dushyant Kavia,Amanpreet Kaur – will recite ghazals.
This organization of ours is solely focused on the development of the blinds. The sole aim of our organization is to work for every blind person and to give a direction to their progress. The services being provided are meditation, yoga, placement for blind people, hygienic meals, magnificent environment for prayers and meditation, education classes, awareness programmes, special tours to historical and religious places.
Added here, sometime back, a Avrodhak – Obstructive – Marathon – Blind folded run – was organized in which around more than 500 common men participated in the event by covering the eyes with cloth strips sot that they could understand the problems being faced by the visually impaired persons.
