Process Server files complaint with police against security guards of Malbros Liquor Factory, Zira
Farmers of Mansoorwala to hold massive protest on completion of 2 years dharna on July 24
Ferozepur, June 16, 2024: Process Server, Balvir Singh from the court of Amandeep Civil Judge, Senior Division, Zira, – who was man-handled, mobile snatched and thrashed out of the factory, when he had gone to serve the summons at M/s Malbros International Pvt Ltd village Mansoorwala, Tehsil Zira – has lodged a complaint with the police at Zira for taking legal action against the security guards of the factory.
The summons were to be served to Rohit Sethi, Director of the factory to answer to a charge of offence punishable before the CJM on July 26, 2024.
Roman Brar Mahianwala Kalan said the National Green Tribunal has also fixed July 2 when we expect that the Punjab government will properly put up its claim over the working of Marlboros Liquor Factory.
He further said that our sit-in dharna has been continuing for the last around two years but regular orders for the closure of the factory as its operation is polluting the environment and water of the area. He said that since our protest is completing two years on July 24, we have planned to hold a massive protest over a huge gathering at the Dharna site.
