PROA pledged to celebrate smokeless, noiseless and safe Diwali
Ferozepur, October 7, 2017: Punjab Revenue Officers Association, Ferozepur Division in its meeting held under the tutelage of Gursewak Singh Bhullar, President thanked all the revenue officers for extending cooperation for standing against the unnecessary interference of Vigilance Department by proceeding of mass leave on August 18, 2017.
Bhullar said, in the meeting detailed discussions were held on various issues and demands of the Revenue officers.
He said, the common demands of the revenue officers include for regular promotion of CDC Tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars, decision on ACP cases, superfluous duties, setting up of District Legal Cells in the DC offices.

President said, the revenue officers also pledged to celebrate, smokeless, noiseless and safe Divali Festival expressing convern over environmental pollution and the safety issues in bursting fire crackers that contribute to serious health issues. The members also promised to avoid unnecessary expenditures on this occasion.
But, this is the right time to take a step towards eco-friendly practices in whatever we do, said Vijay Behal.
