PPP to associate in the event of ‘Grand Alliance of Opposition’ in Punjab : Manpreet Badal

Ferozepur, November 28, 2015: On Friday, Manpreet Singh Badal was here in Ferozepur to have a special meeting with Amandeep Kaur recently joined the Peoples Party of Punjab (PPP) after quitting from Aam Aadmi Party(AAP).

Manpreet Singh Badal said, Peoples Party of Punjab will associate in the event of Grand Alliance of Opposition in Punjab during 2017 Assembly elections and to bring down the SAD government run by Father-Son.

He said, Presently the PPP is in a mood of contesting independently in Punjab and in case there is grand alliance of opposition parties on the pattern of Bihar, then there are possibilities of joining the grand alliance and only then the state could be free from SAD-BJP.

He further said, PPP is already working for contesting independently by visiting the different places in the state and having meeting with the workers.

Our aim is not to oust the Akalis but also to fight for the issues of the state like latest manifesto ,better police administration, drugs free Punjab, better health services and insurance of Rs.3 lakh for every Punjabi, better education system etc. , he added.
